Sampler is thrilled to announce the hiring ofChristine Smith as Director of Client Success. Christine joins Sampler with over 20 years of experience as a CPG leader, on both the client and supplier side.Christine’s last role in her 18 year tenure at Nielsen was as VP of Client Service where she had a portfolio of Nielsen’s largest clients, including Kraft and P&G. In previous roles at Nielsen she was an analyst, led complex client engagements and managed an associate analyst team of over 80 people. Christine further led Nielsen’s Innovation department, which supported clients in achieving new product success. Before Nielsen, Christine was a Marketing Associate at CPG powerhouse, Nestle, where she put fan-favourite Kit Kat Crunchy chocolate bars on the Canadian market.
Christine has also received 2 awards for supplier excellence and is a 3 time recipient of the Advertising Research Foundation’s David Ogilvy Award. Christine is a passionate people-leader who firmly believes in the importance of strength based-leadership, innovation, personal balance and development. It was these mutual values between Christine and Sampler that drove her to join the team. She added “I really respect how Sampler does what it does. It already feels like home.”When reflecting on Sampler’s product sampling solution she said, “I really don’t know how someone didn’t think of this before. I remember getting samples the traditional way, on a street corner or in-store, and thinking to myself ‘what a waste, I don't have a dog, why are you giving me a dog food sample?!’ Every dollar counts, especially right now, and I know first hand how much money, time and effort goes into a product sampling program. It really is a waste of those resources to run a product sampling program that is not digitally targeted.”When asked about the current landscape Christine mentioned, “it is clear Sampler is the premium product sampling option...and for good reason.
